As I was brushing up my knowledge on the law and practice of landlord and tenant prior to conducting a workshop on the subject, I came across “green lease”, which is a lease of a comercial bulding where both lessors and lessees (or landlords and tenants) covenant to each other to minimise environmental impact in areas such as energy, water and waste.
