Ar. CHAN SEONG AUN
Member (Chair)
Ar Chan Seong Aun is a senior practicing Architect and Director of Arkitek Daya Seni Sdn Bhd, an architectural firm established in 1984. He was a member of the SIRIM working committee that updated MS 1525:2001 to its latest 2014 version. He is the President of PAM and PAM representative on the CIDB Working Committee that updated QLASSIC to CIS7:2006 its 2006 version. He has represented PAM in various committees in KPTK, KTAK and SIRIM and he is also one of the members of MGBC. Ar Chan is the team leader for the GBI Residential Tool.

Ir. Dr JAYASEELAN NADARAJAH
Member (Co – Chair)
Ir. Dr Jayaseelan Nadarajah is the Principal of a local consulting engineering practice. He has vast experience in the design, operations and maintenance of cold and hot water and sanitary plumbing systems, fire protection and air-conditioning systems for building services and industrial plants.
He was a recipient of the Association of Overseas Technical Scholarships (AOTS) award on two occasions, awarded by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. Ir. Dr Jayaseelan was also a member of the working group to draw up the energy efficiency and energy conservation guidelines for pumps and compressors for Malaysian industries organized by the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia, Pusat Tenaga Malaysia, and the Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications.
He graduated from the University of Malaya, Leeds Polytechnic, UK and Universiti Putra Malaysia and holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Engineering and an Industrial Doctorate in Engineering.
Ir. Dr Jayaseelan is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers (BEM), Malaysia, member of the Association of Consulting Engineers, Malaysia (ACEM) and a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM). He is also a Certified Energy Manager, registered with the Energy Commission of Malaysia, a Chartered Engineer of Australia (CPEng), an APEC Engineer and an International Professional Engineer (Int’l PE).

Ir. SONG PERNG YEU

Ir. Song Perng Yeu is a registered Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and holds a Bachelor Degree with Honours in Engineering (Civil) from The University of Adelaide, Australia in 1998.
He is currently the Principal of Jurutera Perunding Bumireka, a civil and structural engineering consulting firm based in Sabah with branch office in Sarawak and has been practising for more than 20 years involving in many projects from high end residential and mix developments to water supply and treatment plants as well as road and highway.
Ir. Song is currently Chairman of The Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia Sabah Branch, ACEM (Sabah). He is also a past chairman of Malaysia Green Building Council Sabah Chapter, MalaysiaGBC Sabah Chapter. He is actively serving in various technical committees in government agencies representing ACEM (Sabah).

Ir. FOO KAM FAI

Ir. Foo Kam Fai is currently the Senior Engineering Director in Transportation Division of Sepakat Setia Perunding (Sdn) Bhd, one of the leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy firm in consulting engineering services serving both the public and private sectors. He graduated from University of Malaya with Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Civil Engineering with Honours and has more than 20
years of experience in design, construction, contract administration and project management of highway, road, bridge, MRT, railway and infrastructure projects.
Ir. Foo is a Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC) registered with Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM), Corporate Member of Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) and Member of Association of Association of Consulting Engineers, Malaysia (ACEM).
Currently, Ir. Foo is serving as Chairman of Highway and Transportation Engineering Technical Division, IEM and Council Member of ACEM where he is also serving as the Chairman of Professional Assessment Examination (PAE) Committee and the Committee Member of Membership Committee

YBhg. DATIN Tpr. MAZRINA ABDUL KHALID

YBhg. Datin Tpr. Mazrina Abdul Khalid is a graduate from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia in 1997. She has also received her Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from UiTM, Shah Alam. Her experience as a town planner includes an early stint as an Assistant Town Planner with the Melbourne City Council (MCC).
Mazrina’s professional experience has enabled her to work closely with esteemed clients such as Sime Darby Bhd., Perbadanan Putrajaya, East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC), Iskandar Malaysia (IRDA), Maju Perak Holdings, PKNS, Senandung Budiman Sdn. Bhd. and Hong Leong Properties Berhad. She involves in many parts of planning works, these includes development of Masterplan for Precint 11 Putrajaya, Masterplan of New Town Tapah, Perak to identify a few.
Apart from that, she is also involved in research planning for ECERDC which mainly to develop business and strategic implementation plan for East Coast Region.
Mazrina is also a corporate member of Malaysian Institute of Planner (MIP) and a council member of MIP since 2009 with current position of Honorary Secretary. She also a registered Town Planner with the Board of Town Planners.

Ar. BOON CHE WEE
Member
Ar. Boon Che Wee is a Past President of Malaysian Institute of Architects (Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia, PAM), and Past Chairman of the Accreditation Panel of Green Building Index (GBI), Malaysia’s national rating for Green Buildings.
He is also a member of the National Professional Services Export Council (NAPSEC), and has also served as a member of the Board of Architects Malaysia and the Board of Town Planners Malaysia, as well as the ASEAN Architect Council, and the APEC Architect Council.
An advocate of green and design as the key differentiators in the nation’s competitiveness, he has led PAM and GBI to extend the reach of Malaysia’s green and design initiatives, and speaks often on these subjects locally and abroad.
Ar. Boon Che Wee graduated from the University of Melbourne Australia with both Bachelor of Architecture (Hons.) and Bachelor of Planning & Design, and is a Professional Architect and a Director of GRA Architects based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.laysia.

LAr. LIEW YING YIE

LAr. Liew Ying Yie is practicing as Senior Landscape Architect in Site Concepts International based in Malaysia. She graduated from University Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) with Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 2009 and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) with Master of Sustainable Landscape Management in 2020.
LAr. Liew Ying Yie practiced as landscape architect in Design Link Architects Pte Ltd in Singapore before return to Malaysia in 2015. After practiced in local landscape consultant, she joined current consultant and focus on project management and implementation. She is currently a council member of Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM) and Persatuan Arborist Malaysia (PArM).

Sr. KWAN HOCK HAI

Sr Kwan Hock Hai is a Registered Quantity Surveyor and currently serves in 2 committees in the Board of Quantity Surveyor Malaysia. He has held many executive positions in Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia over the years and is now representing RISM as Vice Chairman of the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS).
He graduated from Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh. He is a founding Director of the QS practice Perunding PCT Sdn Bhd and has worked on projects all over Malaysia, ASEAN countries and China.

Ar.IDr CHRIS YAP SENG CHYE

Ar.IDr Chris Yap SC is the Founder and Group Chairman of The Spatial Factors Group (SFG), consisting of Spatial Factors Architects, Spatial Factors (Interior Designers), Spatial Factors Sdn. Bhd. (Project Management) and Chris Yap Architect. He has been involved in interior design since the early 1990s, making retail design and commercial offices their forte. Since then, SFG has diversified their expertise to include the interior design and architecture of resorts, specialty food and beverage outlets, residential architecture and interiors as well as the master planning of projects.
In professional involvements, Ar.IDr Chris Yap SC was the initiator, Co-Founder and 2nd President of Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID) and the Founding President and current Board Member of the Asia – Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA), a regional Interior Design body. He is also an active member of Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM), holding PAM Education Fund Directorship amongst others. Ar.IDr Chris Yap holds Fellow Membership statuses in MIID, APSDA, PAM and is an Honorary Fellow of CIDI Ibero – American Council of Interior Designers, South America and a long standing Professional Member of Retail Design Institute, USA.
A Board Member of Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) since 2015 and Panel Member of The Malaysian BAR Council Disciplinary Board, he co-authored the Green Building Index ID Rating Tools and LAM ID Accreditation Manual for Institutions of Higher Learning and serves as External Examiner and Board of Studies for Universities.

Ar. David Ong Yaw Hian

Graduated from University of New South Wales with Bachelor Degree in Architecture (Hons), Ar. David Ong (APAM, LAM, MGBC) has more than 20 years in practice as a Professional Architect in Malaysia engaging mostly in Planning, Commercial and Residential projects in Sarawak. He is currently the Principal of David Ong Architect and Director of Greenscapes Sdn Bhd.
Ar. David is a Past Chairman for Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM)-Sarawak Chapter and a former PAM Council Member (served from 2005 – 2007). He has been actively involved in the GBI Technical Committee since 2010 and was one of the team leaders in the development of the GBI Non-Residential New Construction (NRNC) -Hospital Rating Tool. He also represented PAM-Sarawak Chapter in the Sarawak Ministry of Local Government and Housing to assist in the development of Green development agenda for the State.
